Acceptable Visa Types<\/span><\/h1>\n

For a non-permanent resident alien to qualify for a loan, s\/he must provide evidence of a valid passport with an acceptable visa classification. Acceptable visa classifications are shown below.<\/p>\n

E-2<\/td>\nNon-Permanent Resident<\/td>\nTreaty Investor: <\/b>Individuals in the U.S. to develop or direct the operations of an enterprise in which they have invested substantial investments. Must be based on a treaty between visa holder’s country and the U.S.<\/p>\n

E-3<\/td>\nNon-Permanent Resident<\/td>\nAustralian Treaty Alien. <\/b>Australian national in U.S solely to work in specialty occupation<\/p>\n

G-1 through G-4<\/td>\nNon-Permanent Resident<\/td>\nRepresentative of International Organization. <\/b>Individuals in the U.S. as representatives of an international organization and their dependents.<\/p>\n

H-1b<\/td>\nNon-Permanent Resident<\/td>\nTemporary Worker in a Specialty Occupation. <\/b>Individuals in the U.S. to perform professional services in a specific position for a fixed period of time.<\/p>\n

H-1c<\/td>\nNon-Permanent Resident<\/td>\nRegistered Nurse. <\/b>Individuals in the U.S. to perform professional nursing services for a specific employer for a specified period of time.<\/p>\n

K-3<\/td>\nSpouse of a U.S. Citizen (LIFE Act)<\/td>\nSpouse of a U.S. Citizen. <\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

L-1a<\/td>\nNon-Permanent Resident<\/td>\nIntra-company Transferee. <\/b>Individuals in the U.S. who have been transferred from a subsidiary, affiliate, or mortgage branch office overseas to the U.S. to work in an executive, managerial, or specialist capacity.<\/p>\n

L-1b<\/td>\nNon-Permanent Resident<\/td>\nIntra-company Transferee. <\/b>Individuals in the U.S. who have been transferred from a subsidiary affiliate or mortgage branch office overseas to the U.S. to work in a position requiring specialized knowledge.<\/p>\n
